Spain's 2006 Tour de France winner Oscar Pereiro has signed a one-year deal with the Astana cycling team.
The 32-year-old said last week he was considering retirement after a contractual dispute with Astana.... he said he had agreed a deal last month but the team had then tried to re-negotiate it.
However the Kazakh funded team says he has now signed and will take part in the first training camp in Italy this week.
He will join compatriot Alberto Contador at the team after the Tour de France champion confirmed last month that he would remain with Astana for 2010.
