Rather suprisningly the tennis great Roger Federer has not won the Swiss Sportsman of the Year award.
The honour has gone to ski world champion Didier Cuche.
Federer was expected to take the title after winning the French Open for the first and becoming the leading grand slam title winner, his 6th Wimbledon crown giving him 15 in total.
Federer has been named Swiss Sportsman of the year 4 times before.
