Test evenly balanced heading into final day

6:07 am on 15 December 2009

The Pakistani cricketers will resume their second innings on 347 for 4 on day 5 of the deciding test against New Zealand in Napier... a lead of 99.

Rain delays saw play go until 8 last night and the tourists lost captain and dangerman Mohammad Yousuf for 89.

That rain is likely to affect play today, but a couple of quick wickets could see the Black Caps in with a chance of victory.

Umar Akmal is on 48 and Misbah ul Haq is on 4.

Weather permitting play will resume at 11:30 this morning.
