Wellington Phoenix shopping for new goalie

The Wellington Phoenix hope to secure a new number one goalkeeper before they play bottom-of-the table Adelaide United in Australia on Friday night.

Their first choice keeper Mark Paston will miss the last half of the season with a fractured knee, and his likely replacement is Brisbane Roar's Liam Reddy.

Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert says while second keeper Reece Crowther performed well in their loss to Sydney last week, his inexperience means he'll probably drop back to the bench once they decide on a replacement for Paston.
