New Zealand footballer Ryan Nelsen has scored his second goal of the season for Blackburn in their 2-1 away loss to Birmingham in the English Premier League.
Birmingham lead Blackburn 1-nil at half time and Cameron Jerome extended that lead when he scored his second goal of the match early in the second half.
Nelsen scored in the 69th minute to reduce the deficit, but Birmingham were unlucky not to score again after repeated attempts at goal went unrewarded.
Meanwhile Manchester United are on equal points with League leaders Chelsea after a 3-nil win over Wolves, Aston Villa have moved up to third after beating Sunderland 2-nil and Bolton are sitting just above the relagation zone after their 2-1 win over West Ham.
