Team NZ cautious about America's Cup legal issues being resolved

A New York court appears to have cleared the last legal hurdle to sailing's America's Cup being contested in Valencia Spain next February between the defender Alinghi and challenger BMW Oracle.

The court has rejected Alinghi's appeal to have the multihull duel switched to its preferred venue in the United Arab Emirates later in the year.

The best-of-three regatta will end two years of legal battles between the two teams.

The managing director of Team New Zealand Grant Dalton remains cautious about the certainty of the event taking place as ruled by the court.
