The Wellington Phoenix will need to turn their bad luck around when they meet Adelaide in tonight's football A-League match, or they could find themselves at the bottom of the table.
The Phoenix have never beaten Adelaide, losing four of their past seven meetings and drawing 1-all in Wellington earlier this year.
Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert isn't trying to sugar-coat their poor record and says the players owe themselves and their fans a win.
The Phoenix are currently seventh on the ladder, one point away from the bottom.
