England escape with first test draw in Centurion

The England cricket team have escaped with a draw by the barest of margins in the first test against South Africa in Centurion.

England went to the tea break on the final day looking good for a draw on 169 for 3, but they ended up 9 wickets down with Graeme Onions and Paul Collingwood at the crease.

England had lost their last five wickets for 13 runs.

Game two in the four-test series starts on Boxing Day in Durban.
