Not a vintage years for All Blacks but a good decade

It hasn't been a vintage year for New Zealand rugby with three losses to South Africa and one to France but the last decade's seen the All Blacks top most statistics for the main test-playing nations, even if they couldn't win the World Cup.

They won 82 per cent of their 122 tests, scoring 526 tries, 133 more than the next best side, Australia.

Ireland's the next most successful with a win ratio of nearly 65 percent, followed by the 2003 World Cup winners England.

France, the current cup holders South Africa, Australia and Argentina all just top 60 per cent.

Dan Carter's the leading points scorer with 994, 40 more than England's injury-prone Jonny Wilkinson.

Captain Richie McCaw's 70 wins are the most for an individual while All Blacks Doug Howlett and Joe Rokocoko are second and third on the try scoring list with 49 and 45 respectively....that list is topped by Welsh winger Shane Jones with 50.
