Featuring in the Football Ferns' record 16-0 win over Tonga in their first match at the Oceania Nations Cup tournament, Erceg became the first Kiwi - male or female - to bring up a century of 'A' international appearances.

The 24 year old has reached the milestone after making her international debut as a 16-year-old against China in 2006 and says her personal success has been the result of a collective effort.

"Obviously this is a big achievement, not only for me, but also for New Zealand Football," Erceg said.

"It's a special milestone in my career, especially at my age, but it's not an individual effort. It's a representation of the efforts of the support network around me."
