Western Australia and the West Indies cricket sides have breathed a collective sigh of relief after scans cleared Chris Gayle of any serious damage to his left side.
Gayle suffered a muscle injury while batting during the Warriors' Twenty20 loss to South Australia at the WACA Ground on Tuesday night.
Subsequent scans revealed no tear but the Warriors will rest their prized recruit for tomorrow's away clash with Tasmania.
