NZ 'A' cricketers beat Ireland

The New Zealand 'A' cricketers have beaten Ireland by 111-runs in their one-day match in Dubai.

The New Zealanders batted first and were dismissed in the last over for 337 with Martin Guptil scoring 129 off 120 balls.

His opening partner Dean Brownlie made 66 as they put on 138 for the opening wicket.

Down the order Nathan McCullum made 31 and Kyle Mills was unbeaten on 36.

Ireland were then bowled out for 226 in the 41st over with Adam Milne taking five wickets and Mitchell McClenaghan three.

The New Zealanders lost to Ireland at the weekend.

A number of the New Zealand A side, including Guptil, Brownlie, Milne, McCullum, Mills and McClenaghan now join up with the Black Caps for the limited overs series against Pakistan which starts with a T20 match on Friday morning.

The New Zealand A cricketers played four matches on tour beating the UAE and Afghanistan and sharing their matches with Ireland.
