Two teams, the Wollongong Hawks and the Townsville Crocodiles, are in voluntary administration, while there's the possibility of the Brisbane Bullets re-entering the league next season as an expansion franchise.

The NBL and the players have agreed to delay player signings until April 30 to give those clubs equal opportunity to sign players when their participation in the 2015/16 season is confirmed.

"Delaying the start of Free Agency means that we allow Clubs every opportunity to get their house in order, which in turn benefits players," says Interim CEO Bret Mactavish.

"I'd like to thank the NBLPA and President Jacob Holmes for their support with this initiative."

Clubs are allowed to re-sign players who they had under contract last season, but cannot sign any new players until the moratorium is lifted.
