The New Zealanders opened their tour with a 66-run victory over Somerset with the first Test against England at Lord's next week.
Coach Mike Hesson isn't too upset that they lost some valuable playing time ahead of the first Test.
He says it was a little frustrating but the forecast looks like they will still get 3 full days and the players managed to get to the gym today rather than hanging out in the changing sheds.
Hesson has confirmed that with the English batsman Keven Pietersen unable to return to his Indian Premier League team because of injury, the New Zealander Kane Williamson has been asked to stay on longer with the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Hesson had hoped that with Pietersen's return, Williamson may have joined them in England a bit earlier.
He will instead arrive just before next week's first test with the rest of the Black Caps playing in the IPL.
Corey Anderson arrived in England today, but his immediate playing future is not sure as he continues to recover from a finger injury.
The match against Worcestershire is not a first class match so players can be interchanged into the line-up.
