Pakistan have crushed the hosts Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the first cricket Test at Galle, to go 1-0 up in the three-match series.

Yasir Shah claimed seven second innings wickets in a spectacular display of leg-spin bowling to destroy Sri Lanka, taking a career-best seven for 76 in the second innings before Pakistan chased down the 90-run victory target in a little over 11 overs.

It's Pakistan's first Test win in Sri Lanka since 2006.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh have posted a first ever one-day series victory over twice world champions India, with a six-wicket win in a rain-disrupted second ODI in Dhaka, to claim an unassailable 2-nil lead in the three-match series.

The victory came after left-arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman haunted India again with career-best figures of six for 43 as India were shot out for 200 in 45 overs.

Set a revised 200-run victory target in 47 overs, veteran Shakib Al Hasan (51 not out) anchored Bangladesh's chase and the hosts romped home with 54 balls remaining, making 200 for 4 in 38 overs.

Bangladesh's win also clinches qualification for the 2017 Champions Trophy.
