The Wallabies plan to run the All Blacks off the park in Saturday night's Rugby Championship decider in Sydney judging by the revamped line up they've named to the test.

Openside flankers Michael Hooper and David Pocock have both been named in the starting line-up together, with Hooper returning to the run-on side in the number seven jersey while Pocock will play at number eight.

Matt Giteau returns from injury for his first start against the All Blacks in four years.

The 93-Test veteran will partner Tevita Kuridrani in the Wallabies midfield.

Dean Mumm replaces Will Skelton at lock, with Skelton dropping to the reserves.

Drew Mitchell will get his first opportunity in the Wallabies starting fifteen this season, joining Adam Ashley-Cooper and Israel Folau in the Wallabies back three.

Scott Sio will make his run-on debut at loosehead prop after a couple of test appearances from the reserves bench in Brisbane and Mendoza, and a strong training camp.
