South Africa have comfortably beaten the Black Caps by six wickets in the first Twenty20 international in Durban.
Batting first, New Zealand lost wickets at crucial times to notch 151 for eight - a total the hosts easily reached with 13 balls to spare, making 152 for four, led by 48 from Hashim Amla.
Captain Kane Williamson was once again the tourists' dominant influence, as he struck 42 runs from just 21 deliveries.

He felt the team underperformed on a good surface.
"There wasn't a huge amount of movement... 150 wasn't enough, it was probably a 180 wicket," he said.
The Proteas stand-in captain AB de Villiers - named after Faf du Plessis' knee injury - won the toss and chose to bowl, and the Black Caps began well, reaching 63 without loss after seven overs. But then the stranglehold went on and they only made another 88 runs off the remaining 13 overs.
That was never going to be enough, even with Martin Guptill also making 42. George Worker hit 28, Colin Munro was caught for a duck on the second ball he faced, and all-rounder Grant Elliott and wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi both also failed with five each.
Rilee Roussow smashed 38 off 24 balls and De Villiers made 33.
The second and final Twenty20 is on Sunday night.
