Tasman continue perfect season

Tasman maintained their perfect record in provincial rugby's Premiership with a 39-20 win over North Harbour in Nelson on Wednesday night.

The bonus point victory, the unbeaten Makos' sixth straight win, saw them retain top spot in the top tier competition at the start of the sixth round.

Tasman wing Viliami Lolohea made up for lost time by scoring a hat-trick of tries in the triumph.

Lolohea hadn't scored in ITM Cup play before.

It was Tasman's first-ever home win over North Harbour.

Canterbury are also unbeaten in the Premiership.

North Harbour are fourth in the second-tier Championship competition.
