Fiji coach calls for more consistency

Fiji needs to be more consistent when playing against the top nations, says coach John McKee.

The Flying Fijians are yet to register a point at the World Cup in defeats to England and Australia.

A win against Wales in the morning is a must to keep Fiji's faint hopes of making the playoffs alive.

McKee said they've played some good rugby at times but can't afford to drop off when playing the leading teams.

"There's some disappointment because we've come through two games and really [have] nothing to show for it in terms of points in the competition," he said.

The team had played well at times but was not consistent enough against the top teams.

"And Wales are certainly one of the top teams," said McKee. "We need to be consistent across the 80 minutes."

Wales prevailed 17-13 when the teams last met in Cardiff in November but have been decimated by injuries at the World Cup and are backing up just five days after their bruising win over England.
