The Junior Football Ferns had already confirmed their place at next year's World Cup in Papua New Guinea, and made Oceania's qualifying route look ridiculous.

They dished out even bigger thrashings of New Caledonia (26-0), Vanuatu (18-0) and Tonga (15-0).

Saturday's fourth straight win in the competition saw the goals shared around six different scorers.

Leon Birnie's team held a 3-0 half-time advantage via a late double to striker Emma Rolston - who finished the tournament with 25 goals to her name - and an earlier effort from midfielder Daisy Cleverley.

The New Zealand side went on with the job in the second half, adding seven more goals to their tally with captain Jasmine Pereira netting in the 46th minute while midfielder Isabella Coombes made it 5-0 seven minutes later.

In her first action of the tournament, second half substitute Emma Main scored four goals in 20 minutes, before fellow substitute Michaela Robertson struck the tournament's final goal in the 80th minute.
