Lewis Hamilton took full advantage of his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg's mechanical misfortunes to seize a commanding victory in an incident-filled Russian Grand Prix.

The defending two-time world champion started second on the grid, inherited the lead when Rosberg retired after seven laps with throttle pedal problems, and claimed his ninth win of the season and 42nd of his career.
Hamilton is 66 points clear of Sebastian Vettel in the drivers' championship, and Rosberg is now 73 points behind.
Hamilton could secure the title at the US Grand Prix later this month.
