The New Zealand Breakers ended their Australian NBL away drought despite losing star point guard Cedric Jackson to injury in a 86-74 win over the Sydney Kings.

A 15-2 run in the final quarter enabled the Breakers to pull clear after neither side led by more than six in the first three quarters.
Jackson limped from the court with just over six and a half minutes to go and Sydney hit the front soon after.
However, the Breakers' bench lifted big time with guard Everard Bartlett hitting nine of his 13 points in the last term and bench centre Alex Pledger finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.
Corey Webster led the Breakers' scoring with 17, despite hitting just seven of 25 from the field, but hit two big three-pointers in the last quarter.
Former NBA star Al Harrington, making his sixth and final appearance for Sydney, led the Kings with 18, passing 100 NBL points in the process.
The Breakers dominated the board 51-27, with Tom Abercrombie racking up 15 rebounds.
The Breakers (6-4), who had lost their four previous away games, led 19-17 at quarter time but Sydney (3-8) were up 40-37 at halftime, with the visitors ahead 57-54 at the final break.
Jackson bruised his knee but will be right for Sunday's home match with ladder-leading Melbourne.
