Venus won the national men's final in Auckland, the third seed far too strong for fourth seed Artem Sitak in their final, Venus winning 6-1 6-4.
Teenage rookie Rosie Cheng won the women's final, the 17-year-old beating top seed Sacha Jones 7-5 6-0.

Both Venus and Cheng earn wildcards into the main draw of January's ASB Classic.
