Auckland are the domestic Twenty20 champions after beating Otago by 20 runs in the final in New Plymouth.
Captain Rob Nicol scored 77 as Auckland made 166 for six.
Mitchell McClenaghan then took 3 for 23 as Otago finished on 146 for 9.
