The Black Caps could host a day-night cricket Test against South Africa when they tour New Zealand next year.

The New Zealanders played in the first ever 'pink ball' match against Australia in Adelaide in November.
About 120,000 fans flocked through the gates to witness the historic day-night Test, which Australia won inside three days.
New Zealand Cricket were considering making one of the Tests the Black Caps will play against the Proteas in February 2017 a pink ball fixture, chief executive David White said.
"The big difference between New Zealand and Australia is that it will be a big challenge to do it before Christmas because of our weather," White said.
"But I think post-Christmas, when it's a lot warmer at night, I think will be more attractive."
New Zealand Cricket are already considering a full round of day-night first class matches next month to test the concept, and assess whether the conditions would be suitable.
But White said the South Africans would have to be interested in the idea as well for it to go ahead.
Hamilton's Seddon Park, which hosted a warm-up fixture under lights with the pink ball for the Black Caps last year, looms as a likely venue for the match.
