White Ferns outclass Ireland

The New Zealand women's cricketers have outclassed Ireland enjoying their second straightforward win at the World Twenty20 tournament in India.

Batting first in Mohali the White Ferns posted 177-3 with captain Susie Bates top scoring with 82.

In reply Ireland could only reach 84-5.

Leg spinner was the most successful of the New Zealand bowlers taking two wickets.

The White Ferns had a comfortable win over Sri Lanka in their first match of the tournament and play Australia in game three on Monday night in Nagpur.
