Formula one's governing body has announced that new teams will be allowed to miss the first three races of the new season which starts in Bahrain on the 14th of March.
Formula one's supremo Bernie Ecclestone has consistently said he doesn't expect two of the four new teams, U.S. F1 and Campos to be ready for the first race of the season.
They haven't even launched their cars, missed the first test session in Valencia last week, and they'll skip this week's session in Jerez.
