The New Zealand golfer Danny Lee slipped down the leaderboard on the final day of the 15 million dollar Players Championship in Florida to finish in a tie for 35th.

Lee had started the day tied for 11th but he struggled on the back nine including putting his ball in the water on his last two holes.
He fired a 4 over par 76 to finish 2 under for the tournament, 13 shots behind the winner Jason Day of Australia.
The world number one continued his astonishing hot streak with an emphatic four-stroke victory.
He was never seriously tested in the final round en route to his seventh victory in his past 17 starts.
Day, who began the day with a four-shot cushion, never led by less than two strokes despite some wayward tee shots at the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach.
He displayed a stellar putting touch to card 71 and finish at 15-under-par 273.
American Kevin Chappell (69) birdied two of the final three holes to claim the runner-up spot on 11-under.
Day, 28, is the fourth Australian to win the PGA Tour's flagship event, after Steve Elkington (1991 and 1997), Greg Norman (1994) and Adam Scott (2004).
Among players currently aged less than 30, only Rory McIlroy (11) has more PGA Tour victories than Day (10).
Less than a year ago, Day had only three PGA Tour victories and was becoming increasingly frustrated by a series of near-misses at major championships.
Since then he has broken his major duck with a victory at the PGA Championship in August, and undeniably established himself as the best player in the world with a powerful long game that is backed up by a deft short game and a silky putting touch.
