A former White Fern has been suspended for six months after betting on a New Zealand-Australia international.

Hayley Jensen was given a two-year ban with 18 months suspended after admitting placing one bet on the result of a Test match between Australia and New Zealand at the Gabba last November.

Jensen played four one-day internationals and nine Twenty20 matches for the White Ferns the most recent of which was in 2014.

Cricket Australia implemented the ban as Jensen came under its jurisdiction as she was contracted to Victoria and the Melbourne Stars in the Women's Big Bash League during the 2015-16 season.
