5:47 am on 19 February 2010

New Zealand is just 5 wickets away from a cleansweep of Bangladesh heading into the final day of the cricket test in Hamilton.

Chasing 404 for victory, the tourists will resume on 88 for 5.

For the majority of the match Bangladesh have been competitive, but in the last session last night their batters folded with Daniel Vettori picking up 2 wickets and one each to Jeetan Patel and Chris Martin along with a run out.

Earlier New Zealand declared their second innings on 258 for 5 with the innings noteable for 3 run-outs, the first time that has happened.

The Bangladesh coach Jamie Siddons admits the game has gone and was lost in the 30 overs last night.

He says his batters have made some bad decisions.

New Zealand won the Twenty20 and 3 ODI's at the start of the tour.

The New Zealand limited overs side to play Australia will be named today.
