Crusaders crash in Queensland

The Queensland Reds beat the Crusaders 41-20 in rugby's Super 14 after the Blues defeated the Highlanders 19-15 in Dunedin.

The Reds scored four tries to the Crusaders' two, with the home side's first-five, Quade Cooper, scoring 31 points.

Cooper scored two tries and kicked five penalties and three conversions while wingers Digby Ioane and Rod Davies got the other tries.

Andy Ellis and Brad Thorn scored the Crusaders' tries and Daniel Carter added two penalties and two conversions.

Paul Williams scored two of the Blues' tries and the wing Rene Ranger got the third.

Michael Hobbs and Israel Dagg scored for the Highlanders.
