The Canterbury loose forward Reed Prinsep has signed a two-year deal to play his Super Rugby with the champion Hurricanes.

The 23-year-old will join the Hurricanes this November in preparation for the club's Super Rugby title defence in 2017.
Prinsep said he was looking forward to developing as a player and a person over the next two years.
"I'm excited about the opportunity to press ahead with my career with the Hurricanes and I can't wait to get up to Wellington and get started in what looks like a great environment.
"I see this move as a chance to get out of my comfort zone and really challenge myself to take my play to the next level over the next couple of seasons.
"Chris Boyd, John Plumtree and Richard Watt are all highly regarded and I've worked with Jason Holland before in the Canterbury set up, so the quality of the coaching staff at the club was a big draw card."
The Canterbury University law and commerce student has forged an impressive reputation since leaving Christchurch Boys' High School.
Prinsep was named as the Canterbury Colts player of the year in 2014, the same year he made his senior provincial debut and made his Investec Super Rugby debut this year against the Chiefs.
At 1.92m and 108kg he offers plenty of options as a versatile loose forward and has represented Canterbury 14 times leading into the latest round of the Mitre 10 Cup Premiership.
Hurricanes assistant coach Jason Holland, who coached Prinsep in the Canterbury set up in 2014, said his former charge would suit the club on and off the field.
"Reed's a quality character with an excellent work ethic who will fit in and add to our environment. He plays at six or eight and is a powerful and dynamic ball carrier with a great work rate.
"Reed will also add to our line out and is comfortable as a main jumping option. I expect him to enjoy the style of rugby the Hurricanes will play."
