The New Zealand women cricketers have completed a 3-nil whitewash of Australia in the Twenty20 leg of their Rosebowl series.
The White Ferns contined their resurgence from a 5-nil drubbing in the one day series with a 4-run win in Hobart, defending their impressive 141 for 7 by restricting Australia to 137 for 7.
The two teams now come here for two Twenty20 matches as curtain raisers to the men's games in Wellington on Friday and Christchurch two days later, and three one-day matches are scheduled for Queenstown and Invercargill.
