1:09 pm on 25 February 2010

Plunket Shield domestic cricket action resumes today with leaders Northern Districts looking to exact revenge on Canterbury in Rangiora.

The Knights are six points clear of the second-placed Wizards, but lost the corresponding fixture in Hamilton in December by 10 wickets.

In other four-day fixtures the third-placed Otago Volts host Central Districts in Invercargill, while Wellington travel to Auckland to play the win-less Aces.

Black Caps players on limited overs duty against Australia are unavailable, but test players Neil Broom, Tim McIntosh, Jeetan Patel and BJ Watling will don the whites for their respective provinces ahead of next months two-test series.
