Lock Jason Eaton is back after being stood down for a week for breaking team protocol... Rodney So'oialo starts at number eight after coming off the bench last week... while openside flanker Karl Lowe gets his first start of the season in place of Scott Waldrom.
The Hurricanes are unbeaten after 2 rounds, while the Lions have lost both of their matches, including the 72-65 defeat by the Chiefs in Johannesburg last weekend.
Lowe, who was one of the form players of 2009 for the Hurricanes and Hawke's Bay, is delighted to be in the starting 15 this week....
