The Australian luger Hannah Campbell-Pegg has put her Olympic suit on e-bay to raise money for the family of Georgian Nodar Kumaritashvili, who died while training for the event at the Winter Games.
Kumaritashvili crashed on the Whistler track during a practise run just hours before the opening ceremony and subsequently died, shaking the Olympic community.
Campbell-Pegg says the sport is likely to improve from the tragedy and wanted to do her part to honour the Georgian luger.
She says a permanent memorial should also be a placed at the Whistler track.
