New Zealand hockey players have no security concerns

The New Zealand men's hockey team is feeling relaxed ahead of the world cup in Delhi despite outside security concerns.

The New Zealanders arrived in India early this week for next week's tournament, with Simon Childs the only player to pull out of the trip.

The team manager Kevin Marr says security around the teams is very tight and the players have no concerns about their safety.

But Marr says while the players will probably want to see more of Delhi as time goes by, security restrictions will confine players to their five-star hotel for at least the time being.

New Zealand will play their opening world cup match against Canada on Tuesday.
