The New Zealand men's hockey team has won its opening pool match at the World Cup in India, coming from behind twice to beat Canada 3-2.
The veteran midfielder Ryan Archibald scored a stunning field goal with four minutes left to give the Black Sticks the win after Canada led 2-1 at half time.
Priyesh Bhana and Nick Haig scored the other goals.
The holders Germany also rallied after being outpaced early on by South Korea to draw their opening match 2-2 .
And the Black Sticks' next opponenrts the Netherlands beat Argentina 3-0.
