The quarter-final line-up at Auckland's ASB men's Tennis Classic has been confirmed following fourth seeded American Jack Sock's win over compatriot Ryan Harrison in last night's feature match.

Eighth seeded Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis came from behind to beat German wildcard Dustin Brown, while second seed and two time champion American John Isner beat Turkish journeyman Malek Jaziri to advance.

However four-times winner Spaniard David Ferrer is out, beaten by Ducthman Robin Haase.

There are no New Zealanders left in the singles draw after Rubin Statham was beaten by 2015 champion, Czech Jiri Vesely.

Statham was given a second chance to play in the tournament after the top seed and defending champion, Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, pulled out due to illness.

The 29-year-old faced Agut's second round opponent - Vesely, instead.

Statham won the first set 7-6 but his body gave way on him in the final two sets, losing 5-7, 3-6 after also playing a doubles match earlier in the day, which he also lost.

There's just two New Zealanders left in the tournament now, both in the doubles draw, with Artem Sitak and his American partner beating defending doubles champion New Zealand's Michael Venus and his Swedish partner in last night's late match on centre court.

They join New Zealand's Marcus Daniell and his Brazilian partner in the quarter-finals.
