The All Black captain Richie McCaw will lead the Crusaders in Saturday night's super 14 rugby clash with the Blues in Christchurch.
It'll be McCaw 's first start this season.
He was in the reserves for last week's home win over the Sharks after an extended break which meant he missed the first two rounds.
He'll play on the blindside with George Whitelock as the openside flanker and Kieran Read at number eight , where the injured Thomas Waldom started against the Sharks.
The other change is at tighthead prop, where Owen Franks returns at the expense of his older brother Ben.
