The golfing great Jack Nicklaus says he'd be surprised if embattled superstar Tiger Woods doesn't play at the US Masters and at least one event before the year's first major early in April.
Nicklaus has made few comments regarding the scandal that engulfed Woods in November, when stories of marital infidelity jeopardised Woods' marriage, tarnished his reputation and put his golf career on hold.
Woods is taking an indefinite break from the game, saying last month he doesn't know when he'll be back.
Nicklaus, an 18 time major winner, says while he doesn't have any inside knowledge, he'd be surprised if Woods did miss the Masters, a tournament he has played every year since 1995 and won four times.
