The former world champion Petter Solberg leads after the morning stages on the opening day of the WRC Rally Mexico.
The Citroen privateer holds a 17.1 second lead over Citroen junior driver Sebastien Ogier while senior Citroen team mate and defending WRC champion Sebastien Loeb is in third a further nine seconds back.
The championship leader Mikko Hirvonen in the Ford Focus is back in sixth more than 55 seconds behind the leader.
There are five more stages today with the rally ending on Monday.
