PAST AMERICA'S CUP SKIPPER BACK ON WAITEMATA FOR LV SERIES

5:02 pm on 8 March 2010

The America's Cup skipper Paul Cayard is back on Auckland's Waitemata Harbour for the first time in a decade in the build-up to the start of the Louis Vuitton Trophy regatta tomorrow.

Cayard is leading the Artemis syndicate which is one of eight teams that will share Team New Zealand's two America's Cup boats for duels over the next fortnight.

Cayard's America One team lost a hard-fought challenger final against Italy's Prada a decade ago, and he says he's enjoying being back.

The Louis Vuitton Trophy event is the second round of a five-regatta international series.
