The Lock Craig Clarke and hooker Aled de Melmanche return to the Chiefs starting line-up, for Friday night's Super 14 rugby match against the Crusaders, in Hamilton.
Clarke's missed the past two games with a groin injury, while de Melmanche replaces Hika Elliott who started in the last round loss to the Queensland Reds but suffered a hamstring strain at training earlier this week.
Coach Ian Foster hasn't included number eight Sione Lauaki, after Lauaki was today charged with assault following an early morning incident, at a central city Hamilton bar last week.
Foster says he and Lauakai have discussed the matter and decided given the cirucumstances, it's better for him to sit the match out.
