Steel chase fifth straight win

The competition leading Southern Steel play the first of four matches in eleven days when they play the Northern Stars in the ANZ netball premiership tonight in Auckland.

The Steel are unbeaten in four matches so far while the Stars have won just one of their five matches and sit second from bottom in the competition.

The Steel are coming off a record breaking win over the bottom of the table Mainland Tactix, when they scored 90 goals, with 70 of those coming from shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Reid.

They have netted over 70 goals in every outing this season including the 75 they scored in a first round win over the Northern Stars.

The match will also mark captain Wendy Frew's 150th game for the Steel franchise.
