Tuivaiti has signed with the Adelaide Thunderbirds for the 2018 Australian domestic netball competition.

The shooter moved south from the Northern Mystics to the Central Pulse at the start of 2017 to try and renew her international career but was once again overlooked by Silver Ferns coach, Janine Southby, for the upcoming Netball Quad Series, Taini Jamison Trophy and Constellation Cup.

Earlier this week former Ferns defender Leanna de Bruin also signed with the Thunderbirds after playing for the Auckland-based Northern Stars in the inaugural New Zealand domestic competition.

Last week former Silver Ferns midcourter, Laura Langman, opted to carry on playing for the Sunshine Coast Lightning, ruling her ineligible for next year's Commonwealth Games.

Jamaican Southern Steel shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Reid also announced she's leaving New Zealand's shores to play in Australia.
