Lloyd quits as GB Davis Cup captain

John Lloyd has quit as Great Britain's Davis Cup tennis captain following the team's embarrassing defeat to Lithuania which left them on the brink of relegation to the tournament's lowest tier.

Lloyd's decision to quit leaves a vacancy to fill ahead of July's relegation play-off with Turkey.

Paul Annacone has also left his position as Davis Cup coach and will focus on his role as head coach of men's tennis at the country's Lawn Tennis Association.
