Woods will still be 'terrific,' says Obama

The United States President Barack Obama says he's sure Tiger Woods will still be a "terrific golfer" when he returns to competition at next month's Masters tournament.

The President is a keen golfer and during an the Fox News Channel he was asked for his thoughts on Woods' decision to return to golf at Augusta after disappearing from public view for about four months following tabloid revelations about his marital infidelities.

.

Obama said Woods had acknowledged he betrayed his family and that was a personal issue he had to work out with his wife.

But, without mentioning the Master,s he said he was sure Woods was still going to be a terrific golfer.
