Bowls players linked to match fixing up for selection

Updated at 8:28 am on 21 March 2010

Three of four bowls players linked to match fixing allegations could be considered for the national team after their dispute was resolved.

Shayne Sincock, Jamie Hill, Shannon McIIroy and Gary Lawson were stood down after complaints they deliberately under performed in the Asia Pacific championships in Malaysia, last year.

The four men have withdrawn their appeal to the Sports Tribunal after reaching an agreement following mediation.

Due to personal reasons, Gary Lawson has withdrawn from being considered for selection this year.
