New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox has been unable to gain much ground on the leaders in the third round of the US PGA Championship in North Carolina.
Fox was solid, but unspectacular as he mixed three birdies with three bogeys for an even par round of 71.
He remains one under for the tournament in a tie for 12th, six shots back of the leader, American Kevin Kisner.
Kisner finished the day at eight under par after shooting a one over 72 to lead compatriot Chris Stroud and Japan's Hideki Matsuyama by one.
He had got the lead to 10 under par at one point, but a double bogey on the par-4 16th and a bogey in his closing hole brought him back to the field.
